TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADING

 

  1. All prices are subject to change without notice
  2. 50% Deposit is required prior to all installations (100% if work done in a rented property with landlord not present)
  3. Balance is due strictly on the day of completion.
  4. Any payments made by cheque will only be honoured after the cheque has cleared. We reserve the right to cancel any pre-arranged dates of installation if any payments have not cleared within 7 days prior to the installation date.
  5. All credit card payments may be subject to a 3% surcharge
  6. All materials remain the property of MAXGAS until the full payment has been made to us and cleared.
  7. GAS SAFE Compliance certificates will only be requested upon receipt of the final payment, They are sent directly by GAS SAFE REGISTER and may take up to 2 months to arrive. If not received within 30 days of your full payment to us please contact us.
  8. Our 12-month warranty covers pipework installed by our engineers and any additional extras as requested by you e.g. TRVs, room thermostats, scale inhibitors, plumage kits etc.
  9. We do not take any responsibility for any damage to other pipework or existing equipment in the property e.g. existing radiators, radiator valves not installed by us within the 12-month warranty. We recommend that you take up an appropriate service contract with one of the available companies to cover any future eventualities.
  10. Any remedial work at the property remains the responsibility of the property owner e.g. carpentry, decorating etc.
  11. We will endeavour to keep any existing woodwork arrangements however cannot guaranty it if it will interfere with our work being carried out to the current regulations and with accordance to Health and Safety regulations. 
  12. We will make good any existing flue holes if a new flue hole is required. If you wish to have a professional work done it will remain the responsibility of the owner to arrange and cover costs of these.
  13. Any boilers installed are under manufacturers warrant and any faults should be reported to the Manufacture for repair under the warranty.
  14. It is the responsibility of the property owner to register the warranty right after the installation has been completed in case there is a need for a call out.
  15. It is the responsibility of the Home Owner to arrange fro the service of the boiler within 12 months of the installation for the duration of the warranty. Failure to do so will result in the warranty being null and void.
  16. Any alterations of pipework or change in the position of the boiler after our installation due to home improvements and not carried out by our engineers will result in our warranty being null and void and any damage to the installation will become the responsibility of the installer chosen by the Home Owner to carry out the works.
  17. Should other contractors be involved in conjunction with our work i.e. builders, roofers, carpenters, carpet fitters etc NO WARRANTY will be given on the work as damage may occur due to fault or negligence of other tradesman. We will take no responsibility should there be any fault to the installation which may have been caused by other tradesman i.e flue damaged due to roofing work, boiler damage due to remedial wall repairs, damaged pipework due to carpet fitting etc.We will only carry out any remedial works upon receipt of full pre-payment for the works.
